Quality and packaging

How we describe quality

We use two public terms: OE Standard (covering our highest internal grades) and Aftermarket. Where a part carries its own brand, we state the brand name.

Why we avoid the word "original"

Claiming that a part is "original", "genuine" or "OEM original" without authorisation from the vehicle manufacturer carries legal risk in most markets. We prefer more conservative wording. If you need to confirm the origin of a specific reference, please ask us.

Packaging

  • Standard: five-ply corrugated carton with internal reinforcement
  • Fragile parts (bumpers, headlamps, hoods): bubble wrap or foam, plus a wooden crate or case
  • Full container: palletised and stretch-wrapped, suitable for sea freight
  • Every carton is labelled with the product name and internal SKU to make counting easy

Quality control

  • Piece-by-piece visual inspection before dispatch, with a record of appearance and quantity
  • A Qualified Certificate is included
  • [[TODO: / To be added: third-party inspection (SGS / BV) or customer inspection?]]
  • [[TODO:: defective part and replacement policy]]

Warranty

Typically 6 months; 12 months for some assemblies such as shock absorbers and water pumps. The quotation states the applicable period.
